Your first free exam will provide important information that will help you become acquainted with our practice and orthodontics. Our office is committed to providing you with the very best in personalized, appropriate care, along with making every visit informative, comfortable, and as pleasant as possible. We offer Invisalign, clear braces and regular brackets. There is interest free financing available and we accept most insurances.

Dr. Bruce Abbink graduated from UCLA School of Dentistry with honors and completed his orthodontic specialty training at UCSF where he obtained a Master of Science in Oral Biology. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from UCLA. While in school, Dr. Abbink conducted research in the areas of hydrocephaly, cephlometrics and dental expansion. He graduated with high honors and was elected in the National dental honor society Omicron Kappa Upsilon.
Also, he is a current member of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists (PCSO), the American Dental Association (ADA), the California Dental Association (CDS), and the Santa Barbara-Ventura County Dental Society (SBVCD).
Besides his degrees, Dr. Abbink also has done advanced training in orthodontics at the Roth/Willliams Center for Functional Occlusion and the Lawrence Andrews Foundation in San Diego, two centers dedicated to the highest standards in orthodontics.
Currently a resident in Ventura County, he was born in Connecticut, but was raised in Thousand Oaks from the age of two. He is married to Dr. Kristen Miller-Abbink (also and orthodontist) and is proud father of two wonderful children.
